Wednesday, 5 July was significant.
We were in the midst of the usual bedtime routine when out of the sudden, Kai asked me how my day was.
I've been asking about his day - in very specific ways like, what did you have for lunch today - for some time, and I got limited responses. But now that he's asking me, he would talk about his day as well. It's wonderful!
There were times we both forgot of course. But this boy was so cute. He told me in the morning that he forgot to ask about my day the previous night :)
I'm imagining the day when five of us are sitting around a table exchanging little stories of our days :)
