Yang Yang day and a makan trip with Kai

End of the year means it's Yang Yang day again!

When I told Yang about it being on 9 Dec, his brothers were present so they said they also wanted Yang Yang day! But hello, you're not Yang Yang :p We had a good laugh... But Kai said it's time to stop Yang Yang day after this year *.* while Yu whined for his own day *.*

Remember this?

Yup, he wanted to go to the Science Centre again! He had such fun there last year :) But this year due to COVID, he went there for only the morning segment.

Playing games...

Posing for a lot of pictures :)

Again, it was Papa who brought him out. I think Sito probably spends one-one time with Yang only coz of Yang Yang day.

Mama went for a haircut instead :p

We met at Westgate for lunch. Yang wanted char siew noodles so we found Canton Paradise. He finished one serving plus a few slices of char siew from Sito :)

Noodle fall...

My char siew-loving boy!

Boy fell asleep on the taxi to Marina Square...

Went back to the shop where we got Kai's school bag to get Yang his school bag. He chose a red one - his fave colour, he said. Papa and Mama learnt something about Yang :p

There was some Christmas decor thing at the atrium so we went trigger happy there. Yang told us to take photos in turn so we did.

Together! :)

We also went to Kiddy Palace to find small toys that we could bring back. Last year, he brought some gacha from the Science Centre. But we couldn't find something small enough.

So we went back to Hillion!

At least one toy broke as of yesterday *.* But these toys have served their purpose - something from Yang Yang day for everyone :)

The previous Sunday, Sito and I went to Orchard to run an errand and walked the Taka food hall. I had an inspiration then to bring Kai out more and have him try more varied foods. So the day after Yang Yang day, I dragged Kai out for tea - he had wanted to play more Nintendo *.* But I was careful not to couch it as Kai Kai day.....

We walked one round and he decided he wanted.... Tori Q! Hello, that's available downstairs too... Ok sure, we shared two sticks first. Then we had a chocolate taiyaki which he had almost half. He also gamely tried sugar cane juice and a crab cream croquette.

Queueing for taiyaki

Good start? :p Hope to bring him out at least once a week.. Fatten him - and him only! - up!
