Which is worse?

1) To feel stupid in front of smart people but learn something, or
2) To realise suddenly that the people you're with are not too smart (ie you're way smarter) and you won't learn anything from them?

Hunger for recognition VS thirst for knowledge; everyone knows we can survive longer without food than without water, but water alone won't save your damn life.

Tough, I can't decide.

  1. I prefer to learn, but sometimes feeling smarter makes me feel good.

I really like the middle, intelligent people that i can learn from but not tehy can learn from me too. Equally intelligent but for different areas.

In your case you can be with ones and then with the others, and the with the ones,... depending on what you feel.

  3. When you are way too smart, you cant progress further among the self ample people. Constant contact might cause knowledge degradation, useless in an interaction.

When you are less smarter, you humbly learn and show it to them. You will earn more than just what you learn

Recognition among the idiot makes you a fool. Recognition from respected gives you the respect.
